Start with a list of five things you might lose, which would hamper you or make your life difficult. Your memory, body parts, ability to speak a language, job skill, a sense (sight/touch, etc).
Make a list of five professions and/or activities that require extreme concentration or ability. Fighter pilots, hockey players, nuclear engineers, superheroes, Spartan Soldiers, brain surgeon.
Put them together. See what happens. Show a day in their life, but don't give in to apathy or pity. Show the struggle, the defiance toward the limitation. Over come and improvise. If their is failure, make it spectacular for having tried.
