13/30: This Poem Didn't Exist (Until Now)

Blame this one on Richard Garcia, too.

So, if you're doing the exercises from our website, you'll remember doing footnotes for a poem that doesn't exist (all of yesterday).

Time to make that non-existent poem exist.

Write a poem that incorporates the footnotes from the previous exercise.

Better yet, choose a set of poetic footnotes that somebody else wrote and create the poem that they have footnoted.

Even better yet, coordinate with somebody who's written footnotes and write the poems that didn't exist for each other's poems.

Yep. Feeling good about those footnotes now, huh?
