Denise R. Weuve is a 2013 Pushcart Prize Nominee who lives in Southern California. Her poetry can be seen in the following magazines and online journals; Ambrosia, Bop Dead City, Cadence Collective: Long Beach Poets, Carnival Literary Magazine, Circumference, Curio Poetry, Durable Goods, Emerge Literary Journal, Eunoia Review, Genre, Gutter Eloquence, Long Beach Union, Lummox Press, Manic Magazine, Napalm and Novocain, Pearl, Poppy Road Review, Pyrokinection, Red River Review, RipRap, San Pedro River Review, Sheila-Na-Gig, South coast Poetry Journal, The Camel Saloon, The Seeding, along with various anthologies. When she is not hibernating in the house with a rather malicious trickster muse, she teaches at Creative Writing & English at Cerritos High School. Is the Founder/Editor of Wherewithal, a purely poetry magazine, and in her spare time she conducts interviews for Cadence Collective: Long Beach Poets and is a poetry editor for Cease, Cows.
