February 24th, 2016: Danielle Mitchell and Victoria Lynne McCoy


Danielle Mitchell

Danielle is one of ten emerging poets featured in Pop Art: An Anthology of Southern California Poetry (Moon Tide Press, 2010). She directs The Poetry Lab in Long Beach, California where she hosts workshops, readings, and craft seminars. She has been a featured reader at venues around Southern California such as Beyond Baroque, Loyola Marymount University, and the Long Beach Poetry Festival.

Her prose poems have appeared inConnotation Press, Union Station Magazine, decomP, Bellevue Literary Review and Day One. She has served as guest writer for DIY MFA and is currently poetry editor ofWherewithal. Danielle is an alumna of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers (2011) and the University of Redlands (2008).

Victoria Lynne McCoy

victoria!Victoria Lynne McCoy holds an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from the University of Redlands’ Johnston Center for Integrative Studies. Her work has appeared in The Paris-American, Best New Poets 2012, Boxcar Poetry Review, and PANK, among others. Victoria lives in Brooklyn, where she is an associate curator of Page Meets Stage and Poetry Editor of Four Way Review.
