Daniel McGinn, a native of Southern California, has been involved in the poetry scene for many years. Five of his chapbooks were included in the Laguna Poets Series. He’s given workshops at Half Off Books, The Orange County Rescue Mission and The Poetry Lab. He competed at the Nationals with the 1996 national slam team and he’s written about local poets as a regular contributor to Next Magazine and The OC Weekly. Daniel received his MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts at the age of 61 and his most recent collection of poems, “The Moon, My Lover, My Mother & The Dog” was published by Moon Tide Press in 2018.
